Emergency order by Pn Diana of AU2. Vanilla butter cake with buttercream icing and piping jelly drawing. Pretty mum Diana ordered this Ben10 cake for her daughter's birthday (to my surprise! I had to double confirm Wawa ke Wawan? Hihi...). Since it was a last minute order, and the edible image was unavailable because baker supply shop dah tutup, the only option was to draw with piping jelly. I finally got to meet Diana when she dropped by to pickup the cake. The last time she came I had an appointment away from home, I left her Dora cake in the safe hands of my superbibik. It was nice to finally meet her. Hope little Wawa liked her specially hand drawn Ben10 cake!

Piping Jelly Hello Kitty Birthday Cake for Pn Sharifah of Lembah Keramat

 

Another fan of Hello Kitty, pinkster Eryna's Choc Moist Cake with buttercream and piping jelly decor. 9" (2kg). I love the pink and white contrast, as we all know pink is the trademark colour for Hello Kitty. It's been quite some time since I last received an order for piping jelly drawing. So it was a delightful change from the printed edible image orders that I quite often receive nowadays (although I had the "artist's block" for moment, I don't know what came over me. I knew how I wanted the cake to be, but I just couldn't bring myself to start drawing. After I started with the outlines, it all came back naturally, and voila! The cake as you can see above). To Princess Eryna, wishing you a very happy birthday! May your life bloom in to a flower - beautiful, sweet and happy.

Hari Raya Cupcakes (Buttercream & Piping Jelly) for Pn Ida

 

Puan Zakiyah@Ida is my sis-in-law's sister. Her office was having their annual Hari Raya potluck on the last day of Syawal, this year she decided to bring some Raya themed cuppies. I made 50 pcs of vanilla and chocolate chip (butter cake) cuppies, iced with buttercream. Some I decorated with piping jelly, some with edible image and some with buttercream flowers. Since her office is only a stone's throw from mine, I agreed to send the cuppies there during lunchbreak just before the party starts. Pn Ida told me afterwards (which made my day!) the cuppies were the first to finish, I would think it's because of the attractive colours. Ooohh... I love Hari Raya...
