Hello Kitty in Buttercream Birthday Cake ordered by Puan Nazzira

Mama Nazzira contacted me all the way from Singapore to order a special Hello Kitty cake for her baby girl. 2kg Choc moist cake with buttercream deco. I sprinkled a little edible glitter dust, to complete the "angelic" effect. This is a very cute birthday cake, ordered to celebrate little angel Qhadeeja's 1st birthday.
Hello Kitty must be making a comeback. I've had several enquiries for HK cakes, made quite a number too! Even my daughter Nurin, is thinking about having a HK birthday cake this year.
Feedback received from Nazzira: Just to let you know the cake was so nice and beautiful. Rasa pun sedap sangat especially the cream. Thanks so much ye! Lain kali boleh order lagi.

Tayo Cake in Buttercream

9" x 9" (2kg) Choc Moist Cake with buttercream deco. Tayo suddenly became a popular design. This was done in buttercream because of my time contraint. Fondant takes much longer time, slotted in this order between my packed weekend schedule so as not to disappoint the little one. Got up at 4am on the promised date to finish this cake and Baiti's Elmo cake back-to-back, both had to be ready by noon for pickup. Although this was a rush job, I was very happy with the outcome. Hmmmm.... Will there be more Tayo orders? Tayo Tayo... Tayo Tayo... He's a friendly little bus!

Elmo Birthday Cake ordered by Cik Baiti of Cheras

11" x 11" Choc Moist Cake with buttercream deco. One of those cakes that I've been wanting to do. Elmo! He's so adorable, and his smile contagious! Hahaha... So when Baiti enquired about this cake, I quickly jumped at the opportunity.  Thanks Baiti for this order, I'm very happy to know that everyone loved the cake! :)

Tayo the Little Bus Birthday Cake ordered by Mdm Caren Siau

9" Rainbow Cake with buttercream frosting, covered with fondant, with gumpaste deco.
An old friend Caren ordered this Tayo cake for her son Sherlock's 3rd birthday celebration at his kindie. Yes, that's right. Sherlock's fave animated character is non-other than Tayo the Little Bus! Tayo's is becoming very popular lately with the younger children. Even my 5 year-old son Imran hums its song all the time.
To date, this was my 2nd Tayo cake.
I met Caren at my office to pass the cake. It's been almost a year since I last saw Caren and family. How time flies! Last time I saw Le Le he's still a baby, now he's turning 3, and a big brother to a little baby sister! Wahhhh... I can feel wrinkles growing at the corners of my eyes...
Twas cute when Caren mentioned on fb that Le Le had such a good time at the party that he went to sleep with a smile on his cute cherubic face! :) To Sherlock, Happy Birthday! Aunty E wish that your future is full of success and happiness.

Pocoyo and Friends 2 Tier Birthday Cake ordered by Mdm Sharon Siew of Damansara

6" and 9" orange cake with buttercream filling, covered with fondant with gumpaste deco.
Sharon was introduced to me by a dear friend I-Lin, they're SILs. I immediately felt at ease with Sharon because she's a very a warm and friendly person.
Sharon, I-Lin and Patrick (I-Lin's hubby) came all the way to Lembah Keramat to order this extra special cake for little Jasmine's 2nd birthday celebration. Jasmine ADORES Pocoyo, that Mama Sharon wanted to please her by surprising her with a Pocoyo and friends cake. It took a couple more days of texting back and forth to select the design, finally we struck an agreement on this one. :)
The figurines were done 2 days ahead of the party. They were so much fun to make, the cute characters brighten the mood I didn't realize it was already midnite when I finished all of them.
Completed the cake on the eve of the party. Delivered it to the venue and was met by I-Lin and sporting uncle Patrick who were at work getting the event ready.
Thank you I-Lin for sending a snap of adorable little Jasmine with the cake. Mama Sharon later sent a text which said,"Hi Ezuin! Thank you so much for the lovely cake! It was very yummy and the orange flavour was good!". I'm sooo glad to know that the birthday girl had a great party. Hope she enjoyed her cake too! Thank you Sharon for ordering from GG Home Biz, it was a pleasure to make the cake for you. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Jasmine!!

Cukur Jambul Cake ordered by Puan Fara

This is a one of a kind custom ordered cake. Fara ordered this cake for her son's majlis cukur jambul. The theme was turquoise and shocking pink. The base was rainbow cake, filled with Italian Buttercream, the outer frosting was American crusting buttercream. I made the figurine of a sleeping baby as the topper and decorated around the side of the cake with baby themes.

Barney Novelty Number One Birthday Cake for En. Azizon Othman

This is exactly why I love to do kids birthday cakes. I get to do fun decorations and cute figurines! My boss, Tuan Azizon rang me last Friday to engage my services to do a birthday cake for his one year old. My boss is quite flexible, as long as it's a number one shaped, choc and vanilla flavoured (2 layer with different flavour), the rest was up to me. I decided to use buttercream as the frosting.

I recently came across the Barney edible images at my local baker's supply shop, I thought they'd be adorable on a baby's cake. My daughter Nurin used to adore Barney when she was younger. Barney always bring back those fond memories of her as a toddler. And I've been wanting to make this fondant baby figurine, so I decided to add this decor to the cake FOC, since the idea came after I quoted Tuan Azizon. By using Barney's signature colours purple and green as the theme, I fashioned a sitting baby on the number one cake. I'm just pleased with the finished cake, the baby acts as the focal point. Since the baby is just one year old, it was the older siblings who were more excited about the cake. I hope they'll be as much surprised as the baby to see the cake as their father had hoped. Happy first birthday li'l Dinie!
