7" x 10" chocolate moist cake with choc ganache filling. Covered with fondant and edible image.
This cake conjured both excitement and fear in me. A novelty book cake for an avid fan of Guardians of Ga'hoole series, 9 year old master Imran. An interesting project, but since I have never attempted this kind of cake before, had me nervous since the day I took the order. :p
Except for the humid and rainy day, everything else went smoothly while "constructing" this book. I was very pleased with the final product, I hope the birthday boy is equally happy with his cake.
